Refund policy

At I Segreti del Mare, your complete satisfaction is our top priority!

You may return a product within 14 days of receipt. After this period, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Exclusions: Incorrect size – refunds are not available; only replacement with the correct size is allowed.

We disclaim all responsibility in the event of:

  • Theft of the package from the mailbox
  • Delivery of the package to neighbors or left at the customer’s door if the customer was not present at the time of delivery

No refund will be issued in case of errors in the delivery details provided during the order.

Please make sure to carefully check your first name, last name, and delivery address BEFORE CONFIRMING YOUR ORDER.

Priority shipping items are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Depending on your location, the time required to receive a replacement product may vary.


Conditions

The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, unused, and in its original packaging.


How to Start a Return

If you wish to return a product, please send an email to:

including:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photo of the product
  • Description of the issue

We only have one return address. Any return sent to a different address will not be accepted and will not qualify for a refund. Returns sent without prior notice will be considered invalid.


Return at Your Own Risk

Please note that returns are made at your own risk. The company is not responsible for lost or delayed packages during the return process.


Tracking

Returns must include a tracking code (Track & Trace), which must be shared with us. This allows us to determine exactly when the return will arrive at our warehouse, after which we will immediately initiate the refund.

Without a tracking code, we cannot track the shipment and the right to a refund will be void, as we cannot confirm receipt of the order.


Refund Process

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method.

All refunds are processed in chronological order based on the return request date.


Important Information

We are not responsible for packages delayed in transit. We only process refunds for items that have been received in our warehouse.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after 7–10 business days, please check your bank account again.

Return Shipping Costs

Not all return requests are processed free of charge. In certain cases, such as damage caused by improper use by the customer, return shipping costs will apply.

The product must be returned to the provided address. Return shipping costs (if applicable) vary depending on the size of the package and the shipping service used.


Defective Products

If you receive a defective product, we will always send you a new product free of charge.


Refusal of Delivery

If a customer refuses delivery of their order, we will not issue a refund until the goods are returned to us by the courier.

If a new shipment is requested, it will cost €7.

To avoid these costs, customers should accept the delivery and then follow our return policy.


Liability for Lost Packages

I Segreti del Mare declines all responsibility for packages lost after shipment.

We work with reliable logistics partners who ensure dependable service.

Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout, and a tracking link is always provided.

Our couriers make multiple delivery attempts and leave a notice in case of absence. We recommend checking with neighbors or the building concierge if the package was left with them.


Order Cancellation

Once an order is placed, our automated systems process it immediately for shipment. Therefore, it is important to notify us of any cancellation request within 12 hours of placing the order.

In most cases, we can still process cancellations, but we cannot guarantee this if the order has already been processed.

Refunds for canceled orders are handled differently. Once the order is canceled, a cancellation confirmation will be sent. From that moment, refund processing times begin and are handled in chronological order based on the request date.
